About WhoDNS

What is this project?

WhoDNS is an online toolbox for system administrators, developers and website owners. Our goal is to put the essential DNS, domain, network and security tools in one place — fast and reliable, even where access to foreign services is restricted. That is why most DNS lookups are performed directly over UDP instead of relying on external intermediary services, so the tools keep working reliably from inside Iran.

Network

Full DNS and email-security check (SPF / DKIM / DMARC / DNSSEC), DNS propagation across global servers, network tools (Ping, A-record query, PTR & IP owner, HTTP test, port check), redirect-chain check, "My IP", and preview a site on a custom IP.

Security

SSL certificate check with self-signed/untrusted warnings, certificate and CSR decoders, CSR & key generator, cert↔key and CSR↔key matchers, and PFX/PKCS#12 build & decode.

WordPress

Download essential plugins (with version selection) from the official repository, plus a WordPress toolkit to build wp-config and install the core.

DevOps Tools (coming soon)

A web-based SSH client with a file manager, a web-based FTP client, and an uptime monitoring system — for signed-in users.
